Egg Fried Rice

1 cup
rice, cooked and left to dry for 30 minslarge splash
dark soy sauce¼ tsp
salt¼ tsp
msg2 tbsp
vegetable oil2 cloves
garlic, finely chopped½ small
onion, finely slicedlarge pinch
sugar½ cup
frozen peas2
eggs, beaten
Mix the rice with the salt, soy sauce and msg
Heat the oil in a wok over a medium heat
Fry onion and garlic till softened but not browned
Add large pinch of sugar and mix in to onions
Add peas and fry for 2 mins
Add egg and mix quickly until starting to scramble
Turn up heat, add rice mixture and another splash of oil if needed
Stir fry vigorously until starting to brown at the edges
Serve hot immediately
